Katelin

Katelin Schutt is a figurative painter based near Nashville, Tennessee. Her work explores transformation through the body—women in motion, suspended between the physical and the divine.

Working primarily in oil and watercolor, Katelin’s paintings are prayers in motion—gestural, luminous, and alive. Through the dance of color and form, she explores healing, freedom, and the spiritual lives of her subjects.

Katelin studied with master painter Steve Huston and mentors Chris Legaspi and Charles Hu through the Draws From Life program, deepening her technical foundation while developing her own surreal, introspective voice.

Her work has been exhibited nationally, including Aplomb Gallery (NH), Las Laguna Art Gallery (CA), and Random Sample Gallery (TN), and featured in publications such as PJAS Magazine.
